Northern Odyssey
Leave a trail where you never have before and break new boundaries on the Northern Odyssey loop. This epic 1,500 km loop has the highest snowfall in the Maritimes, along with everything else you need right on the trails. Located in the Mount Carleton Provincial Park area, the huge territory has a variety of impressive sites and convenient locations of warming huts and service stations, so you’ll have plenty of options for refueling while you seek out the great points of interest. The Odyssey connects Bathurst, Miramichi, Campbellton, and Edmundston, which means you’ll experience a unique collage of urban comfort and natural beauty. With plenty of seasonal events, like Snowfest Acadie and the Mont Farlagne Uphill Drag Event, the most pressing worry you’ll find is having enough time to enjoy everything the loop has to offer.
Snowfest Acadie
A snowmobiling event to blow your mind, not your budget, Snowfest Acadie takes place during mid-March and is the biggest snowmobile event east of the Great Lakes. You’ll experience mind-blowing food, spectacular shows of freestyle jumps, and plenty of exciting activities to participate in. The first of its kind, encompassing two countries, two Canadian provinces, one US state, and First Nations territories, Snowfest Acadie has something for everyone. Travel by snowmobile from place to place to participate in all the fun activities.
Go Snowmobiling!
This energizing campaign is partnered with the New Brunswick Federation of Snowmobile Clubs’ efforts to reinforce a regional love of snowmobiling. Riding with children and other family members creates lifelong memories and a spirit of cooperation and excitement that can be passed on to the next generation. The NBFSC “Go Snowmobiling Ride” has been in place for over a decade now, with the broad support of multiple partners and friends like the International Snowmobile Manufacturer’s Snowmobile Association (ISMA). They’ve developed the ‘Take a Friend’ concept in the past decade, and the NBFSC has hosted at least one ride every season. In 2012 ISMA awarded the NBFSC with the ‘top ride’ in Canada for our Provincial Rides.
