Meet the Service Technicians


Guy Mcgrath
Guy completed his small engine course at N.B.C.C Moncton in 2001 then started working at Atlantic Yamaha which is now Atlantic Motoplex in 2002. Has Yamaha Bronze training and working on completing Silver. Guy has his BMW training and was the Atlantic Motoplex Motocross team mechanic for three years. When he's not working Guy enjoys watersports, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling, hunting and any outdoor activities.

Steve Bourque
Steven was raised in Cap Pele this is were his passion for motorized toys started, he received his first three wheeler at 10 years old. He stated his apprenticeship with his uncle in 1989 and shortly after became a citified snowmobile technician. In 1996 Steven accumulated enough hours to pass the province of NB small equipment mechanic certification. In 1997 he moved onto a local Polaris shop, Steven became a certified Polaris service technician he work for Polaris for 7 years. In 2004 Steven started his journey with Atlantic Yamaha better know these days as Atlantic motoplex.In 2006 Steven was given the privilege to work on BMW motorcycles, after following all the training from BMW he has earned the highest level certificate and now is a BMW master technician. In his spare time enjoys riding his 2003 BMW R1100S and spend time with his kids.

Tim Plewes
Tim moved from Ontario to New Brunswick in 1995 for a change of pace and career. He took an interest in snowmobiling in 1985, then dirt biking (1979 XR250), then motorcycling (1977 RD400, 1989 FZR600); so with the move he decided to enter the industry. First at the local Yamaha shop, then an independent repair shop, and now since 2008 Atlantic Motoplex is home. Tim is a certified BMW, Ducati, Triumph, Suzuki, Yamaha technician. He still gets excited when the snow flies so he can ride his 1997 SX600; although he's still looking for something interesting to ride in the 2 wheel category. When not tinkering out in the garage, he enjoys spending time with his 2 daughters and hoping they will get bit by the "snow bug" or the "biking bug".
